With the battery packs getting smaller we have had the opportunity to rework our frames. The task was simple: lighter, stiffer, sleeker. By utilizing CAD simulations and high-end manufacturing methods such as laser cutting and robotic welding we were able to save 45% in volume of the down tube and 1.1 kg in weight on the entire frame assembly while the overall torsional stiffness is even better than the previous solution. Combined with the super-sensible FPS linkage and short chainstays the next generation of electric assisted Blizzards is the real deal. Heavy testing is a part of the development process but nothing can compare to racing conditions. The first gen model won the first official European e-race at Lago di Garda, Italy one year ago. Today, after finishing first legs of the World e-Bike Series we are confident that this generation will be more than a dignified successor.
